I have a new piece up today at The Quietus! It’s based on the part of my James Mason book which talks about how Boyd Rice, Adam Parfrey, Nikolas Schreck, and Michael Moynihan used the 1980s/90s underground scene to promote neo-Nazi terrorist doctrines. I’ve been trying to get some coverage in the music press about this since the book came out last year and i’m very pleased with how it turned out.

Fascinating. I remember how many discussions I had about the blur between what was deemed “ironic” and what was sincere. There is no ironic way to revere Hitler or Charles Manson.
